A urinalysis is a simple test that looks at a small sample of your urine. It can help find problems that need treatment, including infections or kidney problems. This will include:-
- Leucocytes (white blood cells)
- Nitrites (an indicator of a UTI)
- Urobilinogen (measures the amount of urobilinogen in your urine)
- Protein (measures the amount of protein in your urine)
- pH (measures the level of acid in the urine)
- Blood
- Ketones (an indicator of a UTI)
- Glucose (the amount of sugar in the urine)
